Quicker and Thicker Growing Hair

Because who doesn't love Brooke Shield's hair in Blue Lagoon?

I always get asked by different women if I know any natural ways to make your hair grow quicker and thicker, so here are some of my tips for healthy hair...

1. It is important that your scalp is in a good condition, as this is where your hair originates. If you suffer from a dry scalp (like me) you need to nourish your skin from the inside, out. That is, consuming foods that contain essential fatty acids (EFA's) and vitamin C, like fatty fish (or fish oil), oranges, apples and green vegetables.

2. Promote blood supply and circulation to your scalp. This increases the amount of nutrients that are being delivered to your hair roots, increasing how quickly and how healthy your hair grows. You can do this with scalp massages and by increasing your B vitamins which are found in red meats, seafood and green vegetables.

3. Rosemary, or rosemary oil, on the scalp can increase blood flow, leading to faster hair growth.

4. Get regular trims! (my hair dresser sister will like me for this one!)
You can't expect your hair to grow longer if it just keeps breaking off. I am trying to grow my hair out again at the moment so I'm getting it trimmed every 4 weeks.
